it is always nice to meet her again
and never uncomfertable with awkard silences
this is why she is on my list of
'people i want to stay in touch with"
(that are not physically around me)
i find talking to her so awarding
we're so much alike come to think of it
im fortunate to have so many good friends in my life
sometimes i wonder how i deserved them all
after all, they say that most people should feel fortunate if they have but one good friend in their lives. i have several.
so these are some of people i want to keep in my life:
madelyn, juliana and jessica(usa)
heidi
oda
astrid
renate, markus, jørgen (cuba)
+ my relatives of course...
there are probably more; these were the ones that i immediately thought of:)
i used to say the same thing about my italian girl Giulia, but we've kinda slipped apart. but you cannot keep in touch with everyone, its just not possible (although facebook is a good utility to keep somewhat in touch).
understand that friends come and go, but for the precious few you should hold on to. work hard to bridge the gaps of geography and lifestyle because the older you get, the more you need the people you knew when you were young.
